FOAF is organising its first scientific congress on the theme: Specific Language and Learning Disorders in Africa: Issues and Challenges in Lomé (TOGO) from 20 to 22 August 2018.
FOAF is composed of 10 associations of speech therapists from 10 French-speaking African countries and is based in Lomé. It works for the recognition of the profession and its roots, for the promotion of the quality of the speech-language practice, for the capacity building of speech-language pathologists, and for the adaptation of diagnostic and orthophonic care tools, in Africa.
